I'm Katerina Levchenko
I am an artist and a highly sought after art and music teacher, currently living in tropical Cairns, Australia.
My passion is teaching. My knowledge and skills lie in Art, Music, Maths and Physics. It took me two years of immense research and organising all of my knowledge to come up with a step by step action method. This consists of a must-do Foundation 7 week “Sketch the Moment'' Course and other mini challenges on various topics. I proudly named this method the LevArt method, and I name my students LevArtists.
My life mission now is to teach people ART, so that you could confidently say: “I CAN Draw!”

MODULE 1: STARTING STRONG
Lesson 1. Starting up
Needed materials, holding a pencil, starting sketching, quick sketches
Lesson 2. Lights and shadows
Terminology of lights and shadows, sketch of an egg
MODULE 2: SHAPES AND TEAPOT
Lesson 3. Simple shapes
You will learn how to draw basic shapes: box, cylinder, sphere, cone
Lesson 4. Drawing a teapot
Creating the first great looking, detailed sketch that goes onto the wall of proud accomplishments
MODULE 3: PERSPECTIVE MAGIC
Lesson 5. Perspective with one vanishing point
You will learn what it is, when it is used; you will complete an exercise drawing of boxes in 1-point perspective
Lesson 6. Hallway sketch
You will create the second great looking sketch that goes onto the wall
MODULE 4: MULTIDIMENSIONAL PERSPECTIVE
Lesson 7. Two-point and three-point perspectives
You will learn what they are, when to use any of the perspective or a mix of them. You will complete a few exercise drawings of boxes in 2-point and 3-point perspectives
Lesson 8. Sofa sketch
You will create another awesome sketch that goes onto the wall of pride
MODULE 5: CREATING SPACES
Lesson 9. Room in 2-point perspective
You will learn how to build the grid in your room. You will also learn to make a division by any odd or even number in perspective
Lesson 10. Interior sketch
You will do sketch of your dream bedroom using a two-point perspective
MODULE 6: COMPOSITION MASTERY
Lesson 11. Rules of composition
You will learn different ways of how to create focal points and a few rules of composition (rule of balance, rule of thirds and rule of odd numbers)
Lesson 12. Still life sketch
Sketching a lovely still life composition with a jug, a persimmon, apples and some folded fabric. Another beautiful sketch that will go onto that wall of pride
MODULE 7: BEYOND BOUNDARIES
Lesson 13. Landscape Sketch
You will learn how to organise foreground, midground and background, how to sketch clouds and water reflections, how to sketch trees and masses of foliage
Lesson 14. Create a masterpiece of your own choosing
You will create your own sketch on any chosen theme. That is going to be your last and most important course work. After its completion and completion of all previous works you will get a certificate for finishing the course.
